Varsity Team Preps As Cheerleaders Get Psyched"You haven't wrestled, 'til you wrestled a bear!"
Palmerton Pinned!The Bruins got off to a great start by pummeling Palmerton 59-21. Leading the Bruins were RyanS, SeanS, MikeP, MikeF, KyleC and KevinO who started the match with six (6) straight pins! It looks like ShaneE is out for at least 6-8 weeks after he suffered a broken wrist in the match and bowed out by medical default. ChrisS picked up six points for the team by forfeit and other winners for the Bruins were JeremyG with a tech-fall and JesseH & JonB who finished up with pins!The JV also beat Palmerton but scores were not available for publication. The Bruin Exhibition Team (BET) met a usual thin opponent. Since our team is realitivly large, some of our wrestlers had to wrestle each other but Palmerton did throw in some of their JV wrestlers to give us some more match-ups. Keep in mind that these matches are not scored. Josh wrestled around with Danny for a while with neither showing much in the way of moves. What do you expect at five years old? Of note was Jimmy who wrestles Exhibition, wound up pinning Palmerton's JV 72 pounder! That just goes to show you the depth of our team in his weightclass.
