QUAKERTOWN EXHIBITION MEET 12/18/99
After trying to quit the team for the past two weeks, Josh shocked us all by pinning his first opponent from Quakertown in the third period! He then went on to beat his second the Perks CYO 45 pounder 9-1.
He was real excited and smiling ear to ear. Unfortunately, it was about two hours until he wrestled again and the glee wore off as he was pinned by his last two opponents.
He actually did very well in the top position, keeping his opponents down for most of the periods. He still needs to learn the basics to work for a fall.
BANGOR NOVICE TOURNAMENT 11/21/99Josh lost in the first round 8-4. He put up a good fight but didn't really have any moves in his arsenal. We'll work on the basics some more in the next few weeks before our first Exhibition Match. Josh working on an upper body throw in the Bangor Novice Tournament.
