Qualifying Tournament for the Ohio Tournament of Champions

 

Place:                     Freedom Senior High School, Bethlehem, PA

 

Entry Fee:             $12 Pre-registration must be received by November 14th.  $15 Walk-ons (Fri. & Sat. afternoon only!) No Refunds. Maximum wrestlers admitted 300.  Walk-ons subject to availability.

Times:                   Weigh-ins, Fri., Nov. 16^th 6pm - 8pm & Sat., Nov. 17th 1pm – 4pm at Freedom High School

                                (There will be no weigh-in on Sunday so wrestling may begin promptly at 9:00 am)

 

                                Wrestling begins at 9:00 am Sharp on Sunday November 18^th - Stagger Start Time by Division

 

Divisions:              By age group and weight classes.  We reserve the right to combine weight classes with less than 4 entries.

 

6 & Under                Bantam                   35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, Unlimited (75 Max.)

8 & Under                Midget                   40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, Unlimited (90 Max.)

10 & Under                Junior                     55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 110, Unlimited (Max. 140)

12 & Under            Intermediate                60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 115, 125, Unl. (Max. 160)

14 & Under            Advanced             Madison System

 

Awards:                 Trophies awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th place finishers.  Outstanding wrestler & “Most pins least amount of time” in each division.

 

Rules:                    Modified PIAA.  Headgear required.  Shirts & shorts allowed – No sweats allowed.  Proof of age required if requested.
